2010 Comic Studio Asia Contest

In the flourishing digital content industry, comics can be found in movies, TV show and Games, which, has become the core business
for the digital content industry. In order to encourage more talents to pursue a digital comic creation path, whilst promoting creativity and
cultural exchanges in Asia, GrandTech together with Celsys Co. Ltd will co-organize "2010 Comic Studio Asia Contest" and will make available
"Comic Studio 4.0 EX Ultimate" Trial software to all comic artist and animation fans to download and try, with hope that through this contest and
exposure, help seed the interest in truly Asian comics.

"2010 Comic Studio Asia" will be held in China, Hongkong, Taiwan and ASEAN.
The top 3 winners across these 4 areas will help to inspire other young digital comic artists and hence
this competition will be one of the most important digital comic events in 2010.

Junior Artist	Save our Environment	One-page comics

Future Artist	Adventure!	Short Comics One-page comics

Junior Artist Group: All school and junior high in the students can participate in this group.

Theme: "Save our Environment", such as: energy saving, waste utilization, reduction of carbon dioxide
Format: single-page comic (A4)
Award: first, second and third respectively.

The Future Artist Group: Open category

Theme: Adventure
Format : "Short comics" (8 to 12 pages A4 sized) or "single-page comics." (A4)
Awards: first, second and third respectively.

Entry Requirements

"2010 Comic Studio Asia Contest" entries must be created fully using any version of Comic Studio software, this could be any genuine paid versions such as Debut, Pro or EX Ultimate, or Comic Studio 4.0 EX Ultimate Trial version. Hand drawn, printed out submissions and submissions created using pirated software will not be accepted, and it would be equivalent to an automatic disqualification. We accept only electronic file submissions created by the above mentioned versions.

"Single-page comic" is defined as a black and white comic,A4 sized.
"Short Comic" is defined as a 8-12-page black and white comic, A4 sized.

Submission Format

Submissions should be burnt into a CD-ROM. Please attach the entire folder the work was created in,
including all sub-folders and sub images created by Comic Studio.

Please print the registration form and submit together with the CD-Rom to:
6 New Industrial Raod #02-03, Hoe Huat Industrial Building, Singapore 536199.

Postmark for the envelope would determine the deadline for the contest.
It should reach us between our office hours 09:00AM-18:00PM. Contest deadline is 3rd May 2010.
